Starburst Promotions is a boutique PR firm, with more than thirty two years of combined industry experience within the team. The company specialises in artist career development, public relations, marketing, strategizing, concept development and project management. The team of experts also advises and works with various record labels, film producers, distributors and corporate companies, from all demographics in South Africa and internationally. Alishia van Deventer (founder) and her team established and manages the public profiles and marketing of well-known artists, bands and actors such as Dozi, Jan Blohm, Rubber Duc, ADAM, Joshua na die Reën, Reynardt Hugo, Juan Boucher, SAARKIE, Len Muller, Herman Kleinhans and many more.
The company combines a strong corporate background with a thorough understanding of the Entertainment Industry to ensure the success of each project it takes on. Strong interpersonal relationships with the South African, Namibian and international media, ensures that Starburst’s clients enjoy continuous exposure via printed media, radio, television and online platforms. Starburst is a member of the Ghoema Council, RISA, SAMRO, and also played an integral role in the production of A Night at the Movies. Starburst Promotions is also Proudly South African.
